Well This Is Just Awesome

I guess this means I finally made it through my first year of uni…?

I feel like a boss.

Also I am exhausted.

As an engineering student with humanities housemates, gonna get used to lonely toastie making this year. The most 9ams anyone else has is 2 of them.

Kinda feel like a kid on the first day of school, that’s what I am really.

Well, now we have it.
(HELL TO THE YEAH, MANY CELEBRATION DANCES, ETC ETC)

Reminder: the amazing house with the kitchen and the awesome summer house and loads of stuff that most student houses don’t come with. Oh yeah, and beanbags in every room :D

There were 7 groups fighting over 2 houses from the one landlord. We thought we’d lost it when they put 2 groups in front of us and placed us third in line. We were all sad, but picked ourselves up and got on with it.

We are the luckiest people in the world ever…because the day before yesterday my housemate-to-be got an email saying that BOTH the groups of people the houses were offered to first had dropped out. Cue wtf face.

For one house someone decided to quit their course, and the other someone’s mum INSISTED they couldn’t get the house before seeing it herself, but wouldn’t come and see it before tomorrow!

We were offered our second choice of the 2 houses there and then. Our first choice was the house where someone had dropped out, and they had until 11:30am the next day to find a new housemate. Not gonna happen :P

SO we have a house and it’s AMAZING and our landlord is basically SANTA (if you ever met him you’d see it straight away)

It feels weird doing stuff like paying the deposit for a house for the first time, I’m not supposed to be that old yet…
